Bio :: There are three things in this world that keep me going strong: electronic music, yoga and friendships. I was first attracted to electronic music in the late 90s. I loved the endless arrangement of timbres and original ideas I was hearing. I also loved the culture that had formed around this music.
I’ve been DJing for almost 10 years and have played at a number of dance events around British Columbia, Canada. Using Ableton Live and Serato Itch I mix conscious intelligent beautiful funky inspiring music that helps to create a positive environment on vibrant dancefloors.
In 2006 I helped launch the Jyotih Network, a legal non-profit electronic music collective that organizes events to raise funds for charities in the downtown eastside of Vancouver. We had a regular event called Nourish that we did at Radha Yoga & Eatery for two years. Now we have moved on to producing bigger events.
In August of 2008, I graduated from the Electronic Music Producers Program at Langara College. I am passionately focused on making the best music I can. I have something to offer. Every track that I make is inspired by a positive personal experience or idea.
Peace ::: Oliver
